By creating an account or using AdaptiveMath, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian must consent to these terms on your behalf. By allowing a minor to use AdaptiveMath, the parent or guardian agrees to be bound by these terms.
When a school or district directs students to use AdaptiveMath, the school acts as the consenting party on behalf of its students in accordance with FERPA and applicable law.

Each person may maintain only one account. Account sharing is not permitted. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at info@admath.io.
Teacher accounts may create and manage classes. Teachers are responsible for sharing join codes only with their intended students and for managing their class rosters appropriately.
All users have free access to Unit 1 (Limits & Continuity), including adaptive practice, mastery tracking, and AI features. No credit card is required for the free tier.
Full access to all 10 units requires a paid subscription. Current plans include:
Prices are listed on our pricing page and are subject to change. We will notify existing subscribers before any price increase takes effect on their account.
Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
If you are unsatisfied with AdaptiveMath, contact us at info@admath.io within 14 days of your initial purchase. We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, if granted, will be prorated based on usage.
Promotional codes are subject to their specific terms, including expiration dates and usage limits. Codes are typically single-use per student and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.
You agree to use AdaptiveMath solely for legitimate educational purposes. You may not:

AdaptiveMath uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic) to provide tutoring and grade free-response questions. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

All questions, solutions, explanations, lessons, graphics, badges, and platform code on AdaptiveMath are the intellectual property of AdaptiveMath and are protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
You retain ownership of the work you create on AdaptiveMath, including typed FRQ responses. By submitting your work for AI grading, you grant AdaptiveMath a limited, non-exclusive license to process your work through our AI grading system and store the results as part of your practice record. We will not use your submitted work for any purpose other than providing the educational service to you.
Teachers who create classes on AdaptiveMath are responsible for:
Class enrollment is for progress tracking purposes. Students must maintain their own individual accounts and subscriptions. Teacher access to student data is limited to students enrolled in their classes.
Your use of AdaptiveMath is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Our Privacy Policy includes our commitments regarding FERPA compliance, COPPA, data retention, and third-party services.
AdaptiveMath is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdaptiveMath and its founder, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to:
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to AdaptiveMath in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by clicking "Manage Subscription" in your account settings, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. When you cancel:
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data entirely, contact us at info@admath.io. Upon deletion, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy (account deactivated within 48 hours, data permanently deleted within 30 days).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. In cases of serious violations, termination may be immediate. For minor violations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide an opportunity to address the issue before termination.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page. For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will notify affected users via email.
Your continued use of AdaptiveMath after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of AdaptiveMath shall be resolved in the courts of the State of New York.
